You are a nomadic adventurer. They are a very small group of selected adventurers who have proved themselves capable of not only surviving on their own, but also being crafty enough to survive with little to no supplies. You have gone on a multitude of journeys, searching far and wide for work. Work that does not immediately bore you with its easiness and lack of a grand reward. From contracts to hits, you have explored nearly every type of job that would bring excitement and gold. Sadly, no job has been able to encapture you nor provide a sizable prize for you to be satisfied with. That was until you were at a tavern, looking for jobs, when you overheard someone talk of a tavern out there that has the best contracts. Contracts that will give you riches that can cover lifetimes of reckless spending. Ever since you heard about this, you have been traveling town to town, tavern to tavern, in search of the one. You started your search in spring, now it is winter, and you are heading towards a tavern, maybe just maybe, this is the one you have been looking for, or perhaps your hubris will be your downfall.

This game kinda reminds me of the opening text of Star Wars, or the End poem in Minecraft. The text being slowly printed is reminiscent of the slowly scrolling text.

The revealing text is a bit slow for a fast reader like me. Great choices; I felt they were impactful to the story at hand. You nail the tone, also.

The narrative was really interesting, although the pacing could be faster. I like how detailed your game is.

I agree! I think that the narrative is very hefty. While it's impressive and interesting, it takes a little bit of time to get going.

I began my playthrough right at the beginning of the journey because three previous people had been working at it. I liked the random battle mechanic, but would have liked to either have scrolling text that was way faster than my ability to read, or to have the ability to fast forward as others have said.

The use of all the graphics, sounds, and fonts are immersive and thoughtful! I can see you have spent lot of time on them.

The only one suggestion is that the texts can appear quicker lol.

Like everyone else, I wasn't able to play your game in the proper amount of time. I'm very intrigued by the story so far. I might suggest adding a feature that allows you to skip the revealing of each word, kind of like in many other games such as Pokemon where you can press "space" to make them move on quicker if you are a faster reader, ect. Great job!!

I agree with this! I loved the atmosphere and the dialogue, but I wish I was able to play more :)

Sorry I didn't get to play the game all the way. really elaborate, and i can tell you put in a lot of time into this. i think maybe revealing the text sentence by sentence instead of letter by letter would speed up the pace. other than that, really well done!

I agree with the text speed, there could be an option at the start that changes the speed of the text, but it's a really well done game.

The game was absolutely amazing and was so impressive. The story is well written and choices feel like they matter. My only suggestion is the text should be bigger and probably againg a gradient that would make it more legible. The dark color text is hard to read against the dark background. Music is lovely

I also thought this game was very impressive. I also had legibility issues to which I would recommend increasing the contrast between the words and the background. It is hard to read the darker colors.

This reminds of those dnd campaigns where you interact with the npcs and your actions affect future events.

I definitely agree with this! The gameplay seems to mostly fall down to the dice rolls and luck of the draw. Could be really fun if there was some multiplayer aspects in this!

I really like the plot of your game, and the coordination with the music is also very captivating. Compared with other games, the most distinctive feature and advantage of your game is that it can trigger the plot by clicking

Based of a technical point of view, i appericiate the creator make so many choices include in the game. That will takes a ton of time in narrative writing. In addtion, it is also very cool to see the game include images and audio, even though they are not require in the assignment.

super cool idea! I was only able to get one story line, but I wonder if this was inspired by a certain universe? Also, are there more characters to interact with than just the bar tender? I would love to play this through all the way, great job!

I wasn’t able to figure out how to restart the game and ended up playing where the previous player left off. But I was able to play through a bit of the game and get a feeling for it.

There are a lot of choices so I wonder how many branches there are. I didn't play long enough to see any paths converge but it would be interesting to be given the illusion of choice

It’s a narrative adventure game. It’s interesting to see the dialog and the direction of the story based on my choices. The combination of text font, graphic and music really brings out the vibe.

Though the text print speed is a bit slow I wished there’s a button to print all text

I really like the sound effects in this game. The storyline is excellent, and the backgrounds look great as well

Insanely well done!!! The bartender remembered my name and the text popped in very satisfyingly!!!
